Event: January 15, 2015

Join your fellow members in an act of kindness as we prepare a meal for the 90 residents of Transition Projects at their Clark Center location.

This is one of our most popular PNG service projects!

5:30 – 7:00 – Food Preparation
7:00 – 8:00 – Food is Served

The Clark Center includes a full commercial kitchen, including large pots and pans, plates, cups and utensils, which meal providers are welcome to use.

At any point in anyone’s life they can become homeless…and they don’t have to stay that way.

The mission of Transition Projects is to serve people’s needs as they transition from homelessness to housing. Each year they serve more than 9,000 people.

RSVP by joining this event. Due to limited space in the kitchen, this project is limited to 8 volunteers.

We’ll need one volunteer to act as the “head chef”. This honored individual will set the menu and purchase the ingredients. The Community Service Committee covers this $200 cost.
